You could do older works but sometimes it feels weird if you weren't satisfied with the work to begin with(I won't CG anything I don't like). Alternative methods such as hard cel-shading are possible but it really depends on the desired effect of the picture.
Personally I like your softer CGing style using thin hard lines. In terms of style I haven't really seen enough to comment.
And I kind of agree with the head being disproportionate. But PS can edit many things.
Put it this way, you seem to draw only females of a certain age group. And sometimes their poses look good, but somewhat unnatural.. As if they're posing for the camera on purpose. It gets a little strange... But maybe it's just me.
